Ack, I can totally sympathise with that! I think we all can't help but cringe a little when we look back at old fics we wrote ages ago. XD *LOL* The cards are tons of fun! I sometimes have the same problem with the smutty stuff. xD But, my biggest problem is the endless pairings and possibilities. I get into one story with one pairing and then my brain is eaten by a whole other pairing and situation. >.

Oh I SO know what you mean! My attention span consistently shifts between favoured characters, pairings, and bunnies. D: Sooo many unfinished fics on my desktop because of that. @_@

I never attempt to write any form of smut, so sadly I can't agree with you on how technicalities get in the way or how you just jump straight to it. xD THAT DOES HAPPEN WITH ANY OTHER KIND FIC I ATTEMPT TO WRITE THOUGH. D:

LOL! Awh, but regardless of whether it's smut or not, it's still frustrating when it happens. :S This is why I need to plan out my stories beforehand... Otherwise I get caught up in something completely unrelated to the plot I'd initially thought up! XD
