I was having a lovely late night conversation with my dad cause both of us couldn't sleep. It's no surprise that lately I've been feeling a little angsty and somewhat confused even despite all the things that are going really well for me at the moment and I haven't been able to nail it down to a simple explanation. Your dad needs to complete his thoughts.... he should tell you that's not really a problem, but an opportunity....

In my fantasies, I imagine him saying to you:

"I am glad you are taking both roads. It is hard work, but you will accomplish more doing both than just picking one, and you will be happier too."

Next time he should be more than insightful. So tell him from me to be more encouraging and proud of you. Maybe that will make him more useful to you. Just a random thought.

It's tough to find just the right balance of life sometimes. Sometimes people work to hard, and others sometimes dream too much. I think you're doing great. Maybe I need to work less! lol I miss seeing you. Are you doing another concert soon? I so love to listen to your band!
