Miz - cooking challenge

Yes, another one for you. Strawberries and potatoes, both in the main. Inspired by the thought of "strawberries go with everything" after seeing http://community.livejournal.com/food_porn/4701342.html and thinking it sounds delicious.
Anyone else got ideas for me?

Wow, this one is actually pretty tough, possibly because I'm currently overwhelmed by the taste of Vegemite. I'm gonna say crispy latkes with spring onion and sliced strawberry in them and it really needs one other spice...gonna go with garlic. Just a weeny bit of garlic. And a weeny bit of black pepper. (Totally feel like I'm stealing from the food_porn, but I read it after I wrote this! Promise :P). Could serve those with a really nicely cooked steak or like a sundried tomato pesto coated pan fried chicken breast.

Hehe, I like these challenges again! I gotta say though, I would probably be a scaredy and order the non-strawberry main. It does increasingly appeal though!!

Ohhh man possibly also bacon should be involved in that latke. My arteries hurt at the thought but I am liking the idea for taste.
