What type of hepatitis? My grandmother had hepatitis C from a blood transfusion. Was on medicane since my mom was born 45 years in April, and .... three year ago (this year) had a liver transplant, she's still on a lot of medication so her body won't, damn what's the word... well to keep the liver working with her body. But she is hepatitis free now, she has tests run like once a month to monitor it. I mean, I'm sure if she got off some of the medicine it could come back. But it's not hurting this new liver anymore, her body is clean from it...
I know all that, but they didn't catch the hepatitis until now, and evidentally it use to be that my aunt was a carrier and now the disease progressed and she began to show symptoms, but they were so slight that she didn't think anything of it. Now she has 10 times the normal cell count of the disease in her body.
And the words you were looking for, I think, were so that her body wouldn't reject the liver transplant.
