and always, dragon age has beaten the blues out of me for the moment.

what do you guys do when you feel down?for me, it's video games. nothing like losing yourself for a few hours in a fantasy world where the biggest problem is how you are going to slay a dragon with your character's low level and terrible skill tree choices. or climbing over ( Read more... )

Hurt/comfort fic, to be honest (I don't know why it feels embarassing to say so, but it does). Reading or writing both work.

But the dynamics need to be pretty specific (the character being comforted usually needs to be fairly strong in canon.)

Also, (seeing as you asked) JOURNAL WRITING! :D so good to remove all the thoughts from your head at the end of the day.. i like to write what im thankful for, and then by the time i get to saying what's worrying me, it already doesn't seem so bad.. :)

AND I highly reccomend the Wellbeing magazines, they are so full of positive thoughts and energy, not to mention helpful tips! I'm certain you'd love them. I read them allll the time! haha. There's this awesome column where a specialist writes about cases *just likes yours* where doctors are no help, and you need to turn to natural remedies. Plus, you can borrow them from the library lol. Freebies!! The website's ok, but a magazine is much more satisfying :)

I try to talk to you :P amongst other people. There are a handful of people who I CANNOT maintain a depressed state whilst talking to and you are very much one of them. I wish I could give you a big hug right now and help you feel better as you have me so many many times <3

i thought i commented this before, but it mustn't have gone through. :(
I spend time with people I love. Over the last 6 months that's been work (luckily, considering that's always where I am), but no one can make me laugh like they do, and I can tell them anything. Or I write to Laura, which is really like a diary, but it's nice to know someone is listening. Love.
