I finally grew some balls to make a first move on a male and my attempt didn't even work!!
So I was getting my tires replaced and repaired and left my car overnight and I went to go pick it up today.
Tyrone: So how was the beach?
Me: You remembered that I went?
T: Yes, I wanted to go.
M: Well you should go today, it is a beautiful day.
T: I don't have any days off.
M: I had a three day weekend and took today off as an extra bonus. I just finished school and needed a vacation.
T: That's cool. Where do you go?
M: Ohlone
And the conversation pretty much dies out and I leave. As I'm driving away, I regret not talking to him more. I'm working up the nerve to call him at his work and ask my cousin what I should tell him. She tells me to tell him something is wrong with my car, blah blah blah, but I don't want to sugarcoat anything. I call a friend up and ask her if I should just be blunt about it and ask him out. Without hesitation, I call him up.
Tyrone: Thank you for calling Wheel Works. This is Tyrone, how may I help you?
Me: Tyrone?
T: Yes...
M: This is Christine with the Avalon.
T: Oh, hi! Is something wrong?
M: Actually no. *giggle* Sorry, but I've never done this before... *giggle* I was wondering when your next day off is.
T: *laughs* I'm engaged.
M: Oh.
T: But if I wasn't, I'd definitely talk to you.
M: Okay, well good luck.
T: Thanks. I'm gonna need it.

I guess I have to find another place to take my car!!
