I need to grow some lemon grass, it works wonderfully with sage in a smudging stick :)

I use the twigs as well as the leaves. I am not an expert but this is all what my friend told me :)
Don't let the leaves dry out as they will be too brittle to bind, tie them together when they are still soft and floppy (about 2 days after cutting).
gather them loosly together and rought bind with cotton top middle and bottom.
Wind cotton up and down the length, tucking the leaves in. It is important to have three central binds built up too ( top, middle, bottom) so as it burns it continues to be held together.
Lavendar, rosemary and lemon grass work well alongside the sage :)
I have some pineapple sage growing, I can't wait till I can try that!
