take the management path if you can. u can always opt for a technical line later on. however, if u choose technical path, yer more or less stuck with it. :)

Maersk, i worked with another forwarding company b4, n the 1 i worked with... i c that these company earnings r very little n paid r not much, somemore might require to work on holidays as well..

My opinion:
Give management a go. You still have the time to switch back to technical field if need be.
