soooo were like ya know... looking for a house and stuff... and i found two options. one is a house that a friend of mine lived in when we were growing up and its in our hood but its falling down and its going to be a lot of money for a little bit of house... but then i went looking on some sites and i found this one in the hood next to ours... so

Well first thing-
Don't take on a house payment assuming you can afford it only if you're getting help from other people, otherwise you'll slam head first into a foreclosure real quick.
Personally I used http://www.agentowned.com for my home searches. It has a pretty sexy interface.

oh no. i know we can afford it on our own. i can afford it without even Matt. i would just like to have people living with us so we can save for things faster... you know? bc wed like to get married :D and a few things like that... it wouldnt be a must but i would like to have my friends around me and the extra help bc i know itll be a fixer-upper. free labor and all.
