Yeah was watchable but the absence of the Gods really sucked. It made the Trojans seem like whiny idiots who trusted the Gods too much and the Greeks seem like the rational ones. I did like the film muchly but was quite unimpressed with the ending.

What the hell were they thinking when they chose Brad Pitt as Achilles? Oh yeah, sorry, he has an amazing arse!? I really don't recall reading anywhere in the Iliad that Achilles bares all in every book, just to applease the female audience reading it! Could not watch the film in any form of enjoyment whilst Brad filled the screen! The only explanation I have is that Johnny Depp must have been taken whilst casting was taking place! :0)
