Hello all! I just want to make sure everyone realizes when they apply for future characters and such that I personally always make sure the information they give on their application aligns with the information given at HPL. I was surprised the other day to find out a potential RPer had never heard of the wonderful site, so I shall give a brief mention as to what it is so everyone understands. HPL stands for the Harry Potter Lexicon, which is a site that holds detailed information about all of the characters mentioned in JKR's books. It also gives most (if not all) of the animals, beasts, potions, spells, charms, places, and basically everything you would ever need to know about the Harry Potter world! I depende on it many a times to refresh on details that are given in the books, so I except the RPers to try and do the same. Now, I feel nice so I'm going to post all of the character 'profiles' that HPL has and link to them on this page. I except all potential RPers and RPers that are already in this game to check them out and make sure your information aligns with it. Of course, please remember that the site also lists information that is found out through HBP. I do not except that any of you to take information that is given there into your character, except if it is more character detailing. Example, I do not expect Snape to be a Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, but I do except Blaise to be African-British!
