Don't ya think it's interesting? There's so many people here, and they're almost all from different worlds-- some are really different, with their own races an' cultures an' histories, and some are really similar. There's all sortsa different powers and traits.

It doesn't really matter. You can't see any of it.

Ya don't gotta see somethin' 'ta know about it, ya know! If that were so, books wouldn't exist, cuz it'd be pointless.

My, it seems we have a lot of people from Earth here.

Hey Clow! There seem 'ta be, yeah. It's weird how th' same sorta place can be so different at the same time.

Rabi! How have you been?

Isn't it? I find it kind of fascinating, though I have a hard time describing my own world because I'm not certain what to compare it to.

Is there magic on your world, that you know of?

I've been pretty good. Clopped around in th' marinara sauce yesterday, but I made sure 'ta roll my pants up-- reading, as always. How about you?

Hahaha yeah, I find it's just easier 'ta explain what ya know, even if it seems really normal.

There's a very small group'a people that use sorcery, but it's pretty forbidden and pretty much lost knowledge. It's nothin' common.

Instead, we have Innocence and Exorcists-- have I told you about it all before? I mean, regular people don't know about them, but it's pretty common, all over th' world.

You are interested, as well? In other worlds.

It's hard not 'ta be! Are you, too?

Certainly. There is little else to do within these City limits.

I'd beg 'ta differ. I could spend weeks just browsin' th' stores! There's so much stuff we don't have in my world, it's kinda interesting. But I don't like stores all that much. The Library has all sortsa books too, but it's hard 'ta find th' ones that aren't tryin' 'ta trick ya...

But it's really kinda like a once-in-a-lifetime thing! What other chance do we get 'ta meet people from other worlds?

There are a lot of people from very different worlds here, aren't there?

Doesn't it just make ya curious what other worlds are like?

primrosella August 26 2008, 04:20:09 UTC
Very much so! Some of the things I've heard about other worlds seem too fantastic to be true.

Yeah, a lotta stuff that only exists in children's stories in my world seem 'ta be real in others. Like those fairies the other day! It'd be amazing 'ta be able to travel around.

My world's kinda boring, but here goes. It's set up like the "regular" earth, I guess, but we don't have a lotta technology or anything...

We got this substance that was found a few hundred years ago called Innocence, and it's a material made by God dating from th' time of Noah's Ark. It's split into small pieces, each'a which all correspond 'ta one person in the world. We call them Exorcists, cuz they can use the Innocence as a weapon if the sync rate's high enough, and they "exorcise" Akuma, which are weapons that the Millenium Earl creates from deceased souls.

...I guess is the basic rundown, haha. A lotta people in th' world don't know about it-- aren't really supposed to-- but I don't see what harm is does here.

That sounds too complicated.

Mine was only trapped in a tragic fairytale written by a crazy old man who died long ago.

Your world was part of a fairytale too?
