Wednesdays at 1490 Kramden have become Ilsa's day to Get Things Done. During the school year, it's when everyone was out from underfoot. This early in the summer vacation, the children haven't exhausted their Things To Do list yet.

So she has the house to herself today. Probably for the best, since she invited her murderer over for coffee.

[As scheduled, Scratch will arrive at 1490 Kramden Road at the designated time through his teleportation. He was still a bit confounded as to why she was even inviting him, and slightly paranoid of being killed in a rather ironic twist through coffee poison. But, he was a gentleman. He would not turn down a request as this, even if he life was possibly at stake.

So he'll ring the door bell after composing his thoughts.]

Good morning, Doctor! Come in, the coffee is almost ready.

[ Ilsa will lead him to the kitchen, where everything but the percolator is set up on the table. There is a set of four mugs on the tray, with cream and sugar. ]

Choose a cup, and I'll get the coffee.

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought it would be done by now. [If he knew he would have waited a little longer. Oh well, now that he is here there isn't much point of leaving.]

[He sits down by the table and picks one of the mugs at random, not thinking much on the decision. He still had no idea if she had any ulterior motives, but this was a chance he would take.]

No, I think I timed it a little slow, not your fault.

[ She unplugs the percolator and brings it to the table with a trivet to set under it. ]

[ Choosing her own mug, she pours for him first. ]

I have to admit, I am glad you were willing to come over. I had some... well, I was curious about Memorial Day weekend, and the week after.

[ She fills her mug and takes a sip, waiting to see if he's willing to talk. ]
