Cycling home from work today, and just as I was turning out of the Science Park, I suddenly started to hear ssssssSSSSSsssssssssSSSSSSSssssssssSSSSSSSsssss which got slower as I slowed down. Bugger ( Read more... )

Welcome to my world as of a few months ago! I went through a period of getting punctures, some of which were repairable by the side of the road, some not, quite regularly. I eventually had to accept that road tires wouldn't cut it on city streets and went back to mountain bike tubes. Hope they fix you up quickly and for a reasonable price.

ah, thanks for that, I was toying with the idea of getting road tyres as a replacement, but on your info I'll stick to MTBs

The rear tyre has worn down to the level of road tyre profile though!

I misread the title as "(Balls, bike) effectively immobilised!" and was really really intrigued as to what you had done to achieve that!

that would be a result of the morons in newspapers/news websites forgetting that a comma means a pause and an ampersand means "and"

really annoys me when publications do that as read correctly it's completely different to the intention!
