Oohay see young hawk in yard recently, perched on low tree branch, searching for meal. Youth of hawk could be told by plumage, but also by many other things. A walk in the river woods.
Few birds, and mostly the winter denizens.
But the setting sun caught many thousands of leaves
Turning them even more golden than before.
The river was flowing strong but quietly:
much like how one might want to live their life.

After a useful day of debate merits of many approaches to radish planting, the village fields, beet rotations, garlic festoons and smelt-streaming, it was time to retire to favorite "after-meeting" tavern: Syllek-Bupwerb. Today Latchka and Oohay celebrate yet another year of the married-life: thirty-three years together, plus change (counting the wild and crazy courtship and wooing).

Oohay gave many goats, bushels of beets, twelve rabbits, and 2 hectares of radish farm to wed the woman of his dreams. It was worth it.
