Such wonderful and heartening news. Congratulations on the job.

You have so many reasons to be proud of yourself, especially for having the strength to make changes in your emotional life.

Thank you for that, Ginger. I still have a way to go with the emotional stuff, but luckily I am able to receive quality counseling for free here. How are things with you? Have you been to Japan since Gaidai? It would be fabulous to meet up there again someday.

I haven't been back to Japan, no. I'm not sure I'll ever go back there. I went through a lot of changes of life plans after I got back.

I slowly got rid of my fiance. I came to terms with the fact that I wasn't interested in international business. I had some horrible experiences commuting and working in a large American city (there was much much more to the situation than just the city, but it turned me off of the lifestyle I had expected.

I adore the international and multicultural aspect of an international lifestyle, but I'm going to have to go about getting it a different way than through a big firm or studying abroad. I wouldn't trade my time over there for anything, but I'm certain that I won't be revisiting Japan unless its for personal travel.

Yeah, sounds like you've made a lot of decisions, but for the best! At least you found out sooner than later. I hope everything's going well for you now and that you do come to Japan again someday. You always have a place to stay if you do and I'm there. :)

Thanks! I hope everything's going well on your end, too. I'll soon be at 25,000 frequent flier miles, so I'll probably visit Arizona. :)
