I just realized that I haven't updated since Katy's birthday.
I don't know how to write about where I'm at right now. I'm still getting used to this, living on a floor full of freshmeen girls and not quite belonging yet, but certainly on my way. Kyley, my love, one floor up and one door down. I'm so glad I have you to talk to late into the evening, and going for long walks with Rachel and Tim. Finally finding that burrito place everyone raves about. I'm on my way. I don't like writing about this but I feel I should.
Today is September 23. One year from today Mat will no longer be a Marine. A year. I guess that's not so bad. It feels so far. I guess that's just what our relationship is. Patience. I really just wish that for half of this year he wasn't going to be on a ship so very far away.
