So, Halloween first.
We went to the Sigma Nu (fraternity) party, to which the whole campus is invited. We were Alice in Wonderland-themed: I was the Mad Hatter, and my roommates were Alice, the White Rabbit, and the Cheshire Cat, respectively. Most of the other girls there, of course, had the usual costume: whore. In varying shades of Bad Cop, Bad Construction Worker, and Bad French Maid. It was like a Village People for Sex Addicts convention. The ironic thing was that while they were dancing on the poles (yes, there were poles) trying to show off, there were about a tenth of the men there as there were women, so they were mostly showing off for each other. Anyway, we danced (or tried to dance, in my case) for a couple hours and then came back to the room. It was interesting, anyway.
On the other hand, we also went to the Literature Club party on the 1st, and that was much more fun, even though it was mostly just standing around talking. There was a boy there that we sort-of know who was dressed like Doctor Who. It was hot. Something about suits and converse sneakers just gets me every time.
Aaaaand this weekend me and Manda went to stay at her sister's house while we went to the renaissance fair for a cultural event for Humanities. That was pretty fun. My favorite part was the jousting, because it was real, and we actually saw a lance break and a guy fall off the horse and everything. I've always wanted to learn how to joust-- that would be awesome. There will likely be pictures on Facebook.
So, yeah. Just thought I'd keep up this strange trend of actually using my journal once in a while.
