That's a very intriguing snippet, love. I haven't seen Monster's Ball in quite some time, but it was such an intense film that the characters have certainly lingered in my head. I'm very interested in seeing where you go with this.

I think you've captured the relationship between Sonny and his father very well here. I want to know more about the mysterious Bonnie. Excellent work. Are there other comms where you can post something like this? It's always good to get feedback, and I know how encouraging it can be to get comments - writing is hard work. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this ♥

You don’t know how your mere reply has lifted my spirits! Thank you, I really appreciate your input, being a fan and all. I hope I’ll do Sonny and Hank and the other MB characters justice!

I have to admit that 90% of that phone conversation has changed from my original; I omitted a lot of Sonny’s dialogue, since he’s not a man of many words. But unlike Heath’s Ennis, Sonny wants to express himself and talk, just not to Hank or Buck.

I want to know more about the mysterious Bonnie.

I’ll post WBOH on other comms, as far as I know, it’s one of a handful of Monster’s Ball fanfics, which vexes me because it’s such a great film.

Great job. I really like how you write the dynamic between Sonny and Hank. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the story pans out.

Are you the same person who was looking for a beta on AFF.net? If you haven't found anyone yet I'd be willing to take a shot at it. I've never betaed before but I have lots of experience correcting grammar and spelling. (I work as a teaching assistant at my university, so I write and proofread tons of papers.)
