Yesterday I went with Nilmini and her mother for our second sari fitting. I stood to be pinned and measured, while three small of stature and formidable of temperament Sri Lankan women talked around me, flipping effortlessly between Sinhala and English. Possibly Bilingrish? Other fluantly bilingual people I know do it too... Though I must say I have more of a chance of comprehending *some* German in context than Sinhala!
