Im really sorry to hear that, but if it helps I know exactly what you're going through. I lost my grandmother a couple of months ago and I, like you, was close to her. So, needless to say, give me a holler if u need someone to talk to or if u just want to get things out of your system.

My grandfather passed as well and he too was the most significant and wise entity in our family. However unfair it is or however much I feel that I need him I am content knowing that he is no longer feeling any of the pain that this life brings. He is at rest but that part of his soul he shared with me and my family remains forever within our hearts. I am infinitely
grateful for the lessons he so patiently taught me. I am loving the woman I am becoming-I have been showered with love, I have extracted knowledge from my experiences and I have learned from him...respected the person he was. The person I will always remember him to be. Know that though his corporeal presence is lacking, he exists within you and who you are. Make him proud.
