Remember the animals characters are said to resemble? Let's see some art based off of that. I'd like to see all the characters somehow get some attention here, so we may benefit from multiple replies.

Luffy - monkey
Zoro - shark
Nami - cat
Usopp - armadillo
Sanji - duck
Chopper - ...guess
Robin - crane
Franky - bull
Brook - horse

Just in case people feel like (or insist on) drawing pairings in this artwork, these are pairings I like for each character. First character listed for each is always my first choice for them, after is in no particular order ( ... )

Brook's a horse? Huh. For some reason, I just can't see it. All the other ones seem somewhat accurate (Franky's a bit more gorilla than bull, but it still works). I bet Usopp's animal incarnation is hard to draw.

Anyway, hope you get some artist replies, anon!

Brook as horse works. I see Franky as more a rhino than anything else, but gorilla makes sense, too.

And yeah... armadillos are hard to draw. Any animal with "armor" or a shell is, really.

Not OP LOVES this! The textured look! Sanji ducks expression and zoro sharks huge open mouth! (and potential subtext of Zoro wanting to eat Sanji?)

(Zoro-shark is only going to nibble a little on Sanji-duck. I think he'd be sad if Sanji-duck got eaten, even if he was the one who ate him.)

Somehow, this is so deliciously in character. I don't know why. But Zoro would do that, if he spontaneously became a shark.

Just wondering. Can we use the animals from the Unlimited Cruise games for them? Luffy - Lion, Robin - Butterfly etc?
