(OP) I'm sitting here trying o find the right words to describe exactly how this made me feel, but it's difficult. You had me hooked from the very beginning. The way that Zoro suddenly wasn't there anymore because of something that wasn't even meant to kill him felt so much more tragic than if he'd had a heroic death. And just... gah, I can't find the words ( ... )

I'm glad this was ok! I was really afraid it wouldn't turn out to be what you wanted because I've never written a death fic before and it had a lot of focus on other things. I was quite concerned this was going off on too much of a tangent, although I think the swords really would be like Zoro's orphans.

When the Kitetsu fic was posted I loved the 'Kitetsu is Zoro's' idea but it hadn't occurred to me before, and I wasn't sure whether it worked with the events of this fic or against them. :)

Anyway, I'm glad it was ok in the end!

Oops - not that quickly, I'm same anon that wrote it. :) heh. Sometimes I just stop in the middle of writing and reach for the drawing pad instead.
