This may be a tall order, but how about a (respectful) anti-pairing fic? That is to say, pick a pairing of your choice and make a fictional case against it. No points for character-bashing and OOC-ness, obviously. You wouldn't have to dislike the pairing for real, though it's fine if you do, too.

Eh, I dunno if anyone else would like to see something like this, just throwing it out there...

Ooooh~ Random Anon is so very interested by this even tho Anon LOVES SanUso. I remember reading a drabble about their relationship not-quite-working and it was really interesting (and heartbreaking). So, looking forward very much to see this!

Anon could maybe write an anti-any-Luffy pairing fic. :3

Fine by me! (All game as far as I'm concerned! Even canon couples like... like... er...Yasopp/Banchina! Or Igaram/Terracotta! Or Wapol/Miss Universe. YES, EVEN ANTI-NORLAND/CALGARA WILL BE ACCEPTED)

The door clicked shut but Usopp was already awake in the bed, despite seeming otherwise. Sanji. Back from the tavern, he correctly guessed through shut eyes. From here he could smell the man. The womens perfume overpowering the cooks smokey natural scent ( ... )

This is beautiful and so sad. I love how Usopp thinks about what his nakama could do in a position where he's powerless--I think it makes the feeling you give him more evocative.
