Watching Smoker too long drives Ace crazy. He likes watching from the shadows as the broad-shouldered man barks orders and tightens ropes, preparing for storms or changing course. But it makes Ace's logia creep up on him unexpectantly. It makes the fire itch to reach out and sear everything in sight. It makes him long to wrap the White Hunter in orange flames and watch as smoke goes up everywhere and tries to control him.
It's the worst in summer. Like watching Smoker cook in a frying pan when all Ace wants to do is drag him into the fire.
