Eleanor and her bacon habit

We've been raising Eleanor as an ovo-lacto vegetarian, though in the past few years we've been giving her fish every once in a while for the protein fix and some flexibility with mealtimes. Is there no safe level of bacon? Is it either "none" or "Super Size Me"?

Developmentally she's still not entirely beyond pure black-and-white thinking. She'll get there at her own pace.

I like the concept of a safe level of bacon. Sort of like minimum safe distance, but for meat.
