Yesterday I had a stomach virus, or whatever it is. So I was throwing up a lot and didn't really eat or drink much. It started at about 5 am, and I felt obligated to clean up what I had just placed on my carpet next to the bed. But I couldn't really think straight. I kept having things stuck in my head. Brian, Ruby and I recently had another music session where we recorded three new songs. Two of the songs used lyrics from Jason Lester's poems. I thought that it would be kind of cool to try and put some of his stuff to music. And there there is just another experimental song. So, my knee has still been kind of unstable as of late. I hadn't hurt it again for two weeks, but it still hurts if I bend it too far in either direction. I can job and bike on it easily, but I found out that movements that require me to change direction and momentum can easily hurt it ( Read more... )

My cat was lying on her back outside this afternoon, showing her little cat tummy. Some company was over at the time, and Molly tends to do this when there are people around. So, a little over a week ago, I injured my knee just before ending a game of Capture the flag. It didn't really hurt much after about 30 minutes, but it hurt if I locked my leg. Brian and I got back from Song of the Morning Ranch Thursday evening. We stayed there about 5 days. It was very fun and interesting once again. All the kids there come up once a year for this thing called Teen Week. Its pretty much a bunch of kids whose dads like going up the Song of the Morning Ranch. Another fun game of Capture the Flag. We actually had a huge turnout this time. There was about 42 people total, becuase I think it was around 21 vs 21. The first game was pretty intense for our offense. Their flag was hidden right on the corner of an intersection, so to run to/run with the flag required going through the intersection with lots ( Read more... )
