I've just had an amazing weekend. Flew back from Edinburgh this afternoon. Tired. Very! The wedding was beautiful. And I'm happy. Almost emotionally so, because it was just so wonderful.

First day at work today. Will write proper entry later but I'm about to cook dinner for the folks. They expect me to be quite nifty at databases. But I don't think I've ever really used Access (maybe once, and someone showed me what to do!). I don't even have it on this computer...

We're having a barbecue tonight, which is always good. But I keeping getting hiccups when I try to drink my beer, which is not so good.

The mad weekend starts now and I probably won't update until next weekend. Off to 'somewhere in Europe' on Monday for 2 nights, coming back, meeting up with one my Dad's friend's sons, taking him round uni... then lots and lots of SLEEP. I have just checked my 'formal' email address (figuring that my huge manatee one isn't really suitable for my CV, college etc...!). I don't check it very often and it doesn't get mail very often, having escaped the wrath of spam. An email from "Michael" was there... subject "From Michael". Well, the big news is that I am now... a 3rd year medical student! Hurrah. Got results today and I was not confident beforehand... none of us were. But it was all fine. Practical exam in 20 mins. Have to be in prep room in 10. FUCKING TERRIFIED. Though not nauseous, bizarrely. I seriously do not know enough. Fucked!!!
