Has it really been that long since she was born? Wow. I've been reading articles on toilet training. One in particular mentions training a child from infancy. The parent learns to "read" the baby's "signs" for needing to urinate or defacate. Then holds the baby over the toilet to do his/her business.

Yeah, its been that long. She'll be two in November. So her learning that now puts her well ahead of the curve.

Elimination communication can be effective, but it works a lot better if one parent is able to stay home with the kid through their first handful of years. I'd planned on going back to work in that time frame so traditional potty training it was. ^_^
