I kind of know what you mean, even though I'm in better shape than you are (at the moment lol). It takes all a person's energy just to get through a day sometimes. And talking with people can be VERY hard work, even when it's pleasurable. I'm exhausted after visiting with friends and have to go crawl away somewhere to recharge. Even writing is tough a lot of times- I find myself doing the writing I need to do, and no 'writing energy' left for posts here, blog posts, or writing to friends. It sucks.

I'm sad that you lost so many friends because they couldn't deal with your illness, but that says a lot about *them*, not about you. I've gotten to the point anymore of, instead of hiding my problems, putting it out there fairly soon in an acquaintance because I don't want to invest energy in a relationship that ends because they think I'm lazy or a hypochondriac or something.

I do so hope new meds will come down the line and you'll be able to do the things you love again. {{{hugs}}}
