I've always wanted to play an instrument. I think if I applied myself, I could probably learn piano and who knows...some day I might treat myself. I am going to check out that group. I LOVE floaty-movie-trailery stuff. Right now I'm listening to Two Steps from Hell. They composed the music that was used in the trailer for the 2009 Star Trek movie...The track is called "Freedom Fighters" in case you want to check it out.
I would love to learn how to play the Violin, I'd also like to learn to play the Piano as well, maybe in the new year as one of my resolutions I will

Violin starts a little squeaky but it gets better. Piano is lovely.
I haven't shipped much on Leverage. I suppose Nate/Sophie a bit, he really seems to like her. Hardison/Parker makes me laugh. I don't think my shipper goggles have noticed Nate/Parker.
BSG is epic. I love it. It's gorgeous. Spartacus is LOT of fun. Intense and pulpy, but really awesome.
Declan/Helen is interesting...I'll have to rewatch. ;) Helen/Will is absolutely adorable.
Trouble with Tribbles is awesome!! :) I love all treks, but TNG and Voyager are my favourites.
I live in Sheffield, and it's lovely and gorgeous. New York is exciting and noisy. It's fun. Wouldn't want to live there but it's gorgeous.
I miss my piano! I've been promised a new one when the guinea pig dies, it'll fit in the hosue then *thinks evil thoughts towards the guinea pig* Sheffield is lovely. It reminds me of Huddersfield which I've totally surprised myself by falling totally and completely in love with!!??!! As for New York, if David Cameron doesn't get his stinking mittens on all my money, I'll form an opinion after I go next year *hopes*
I recently changed my name and made a new account. I was cartermckay for awhile, not I don't think I had you friended here because I was really inactive. We've mostly interacted on ff.net and like sites

yay violin!! *case bump* does yours have a name? Mine is Clara.
Hehe, I love this. I reckon I use the phrase 'I learned that from Star Trek' at least as often as 'I learned that at uni.' Indeed!! Definitely taught me that science was fun and useful.
'tis all right. I post much and often don't comment when I should either. We'll be there in spirit!
I miss my violin. I had to give up playing when it started making my shoulder dislocate & jaw crack, grrr. Same for piano & fingers. This is why I will give up choir over my dead body.

X-Files, VOY and Sanctuary are all awesome. I don't know why babyfic has such a terrible reputation but I'm glad there a few people who like it!
Your Klingon outfit sounds amazing. That's really really cool. Steampunk would be fantastic to, good luck with that!
Alaska's lovely, I hope you like Virginia too!
Wow, you're very very creative. That's awesome. A Harry Potter con in a castle looks fabulous. Have fun!
The only downside of friending more people is that it's really hard for me to keep up with everything but I do try.
Great middle name. *hugs* nice to meet you.
