Happy Canada Day!
Amongst many countries celebrating their 'birthday' today is my own, Canada (see Loonie Icon)!
Brundi, Rwanda, Ghana, Somalia. For Newfoundland & Labrador (a Canadian Province) it is also Memorial Day as July 1st is the date of the Battle of the Somme where 780 troops from Newfoundland entered battle and only 68 were able to answer roll call the next day.
So July 1st, is a busy day.
