Yesterday I went to ward (LDS church terminology, if you don't know) christmas party. It was very fun to get to know a few new people. After that going to pick up Alyssa from her church seemed a little odd, but I realized I am absolutely comfortable with people in both places. Silly dadI haven't updated in a long time, so I thought I would. I took my dad in to get his colonoscopy today, it's one of the "joys" of turning 50. They gave him some medicine that sedated him pretty heavily. He was so loopy it was quite humorous. I feel so lost

Surprise hugs always gets me emotional. Thanks, Melanie.

Some Christmas songs gets to me too. These days just about everything does.

I wonder if I can talk Kim into cutting a Christmas CD for me ;-)

I woke up in a good mood. Maybe it is:

* the Christmas music that woke me up
* the long lj conversation with Rachel that was therapeutic (sorry Heather, I had to lock it friends only, i.e. lj friends only)
* Monica sitting next to me at Church yesterday and giving me a hug

Mushu's entry cheered me up too. She is hilarious.
