i am on facebook. and while yes it is really strange to be connected to people i have not spoken to since i was a teenager there is the lovely limited profile option which makes it so that they can see as much about me as i choose.

i find facebook good for my social life. i now know of events and parties that i would have not nessecarily known about. i like facebook for that aspect. it is horribly addictive tho.
