He recognized the handwriting flowing across the front of it.
Opening it he found a short note.

I know I won’t be surviving this.
She will need you after all of this is over.
Be good to her and don’t be a bloody broody idiot.
She deserves better than either of us, but you will be all she has.
She will blame herself. Don’t let her.
