katie has it right now. she is taking her time with it, i think she doesn't want to finish the book because she knows whats at the end of it; "now smoke your last cigarette"

I know how you felt.
I "quit" while in Utah. Just because it'd be inconvenient and I was in the outdoors, why ruin the fresh air with that?
I got back and thought about it for a second, then decided I don't feel like stopping. No strong psychological urge, no gut-wrenching need. I just wanted one because I felt like it.
I think it gives me some weird, sadistic sense of control over my life.

we've been brainwashed to think that we want them. because smoking is the opposite of control. its a drug addiction, and we do need them to stay addicted.

everyone keeps asking "whats the trick, how did you quit?"
there is no trick to quitting smoking, the real trick is keeping people smoking.
