I've finally been able to really listen to The Mars Volta second record. I've been listening to it on repeat all week.

Oh, and it's official. It's THE SHIT.

Yeah, I hate to be so culturally biased here.... but you add Spanish to music that is already bad-ass as it is, and you've just opened a whole new dimension of bad-assery.

I used to make fun of Ralph and say it was nothing more than a trendy scene gimmick, but that's just because I was always jealous of not being able to go up to the studio in LA and hang out with them.

When I start my band, we're only going to sing in So.Cal-Mexican Inspired Spanglish. It's going to be awesome.
