My grandmother died today around 3:05pm... I was there in the room with her... along with my cousins Martin and Raul Orlando... I was praying for her on her rosary when Martin said he couldn't feel her heart beat anymore... Orlando checked and he couldn't feel it either... I was freaking out by then... and I spent the rest of the afternoon crying

awww sweetie *hugs* even if you weren't close, its still horrid to have someone near you pass away.

It just... really got to me... because just two weeks ago she was so full of life... I know she has been gradually weakening for the last seven years (the doctors said she was supposed to die 5 years ago) but these last two weeks she literally withered away before our eyes..

*nodnods* the same thing happened with my grandfather. Its a scary thing when life drains away that fast. At least she's not in pain anymore.
