it was easily forgettable
dad said thats a sign of old age

whats scary is that ill be twenty next year

it puts a bitter taste in my mouth.
all the things i should have done before my twentieth birthday, lost with so many years of apathy

i don't rememeber much, either. it's why i place such importance on writing it all down in hopes of capturing it. many times it works. i hate searching around my mind in hopes of reliving something only to come up empty or confused.

if it means something to you, then it's important.

happy belated birthday! & 19 is a wonderful age, cherish it. i suppose it meant more to me / canadians seeing as that it's our age where we can bust out the booze, but there's much beauty that comes with it. the year before the big 20 (which, really, isn't so big at all).
