i don't want christmas to ever fade. if anything, i want to hold on to the beautiful traditions of good dinners & baking & being with family. sure, presents can be a plus but they take away from the true meaning of it all & i think that's where it gets lost. when you're anxious over 'wondering if you've bought enough' it looses its appeal. the christmas's that i've spent close to nothing / made things meant the most to me, and that's what christmas is all about.:)

i'm laughing over the washroom being the only warm place in the house, may i ask why? hehe. hope you pack tonnes of sweaters & socks then!!! ;)

it seems like people are already forgetting the meaning of it. but im glad youre holding on to the traditions and everything :). now im gonna go watch a christmas story :P

as for my house, my parents always keep it really cold and i think theres an air vent in the bathroom. and since its so small, the hot air kind stays in there. i hope that makes sense.. i did, i packed my whole dorm practically :)

Christmas never had any more meaning than any other day. The spirit of giving should be with everyone all the time or none of the time. Obviously because no one seems to want to help others any other day, Christmas is dead. Never can I recall hearing about a time when there was innocence; innocence was an illusion. Just as a death in the family breaks an illusion, disappointment and failure break the innocence of the holidays. I'm sorry for breaking your illusions, if you have any left.

Bah humbug.

im referring to all the little kids who stop believing in santa at the tender age of three. its a shame that parents dont try to keep that alive anymore, cos imagination is wonderful thing that should be preserved as much as possible. and its not something that should just happen during christmas, but thats a good place to start at least.
maybe you should watch scrooge..
