Alright, so after mulling over this for 24hrs & re-reading it…
…I still adore this just as much as I did last night when I first read it, dongsaeng. ♥
You know, I’ve always been sort of a…selective smut reader. I’ll read anything involving any pairing, but it’s the usually writing style that puts me off from most of the smut in this fandom.
But you, my dear, have nothing to worry about in that regard. In fact, I think your style is the single-most reason I love all your (smut) writing, other than the fact that you make use of subtle characterization (WHICH I ALSO LOVE IN HUGE AMOUNTS and even more so in a piece that should have been a PWP ;;) and my soft-spot for my SHINee OT3 (seriously, I can never not leave Jinki out of even my soft-spot pairing, JongKey…it’s the perfect solution for me *w*) and roll it up into one hell of a midnight read.

but when jinki actually stumbles a bit as he takes off his socks-"fuck," he kind of giggles to himself and kibum can't help but chuckle himself-jonghyun corrects himself. it's not arrogance, it's just desperation.
I sort of giggled when I read this line, too-but I think my biggest prevailing thought on the matter was about how impossibly Jinki this was somehow. XD He’s all good & cool when he slips into the room, all smooth-like, and then he starts tripping all over himself when it gets down to the big moment…
(I wonder if this was part of the ‘shift in character’ you wanted readers to notice…?)
he whispers, "here," then directs kibum's thin, pretty hands down down until they're behind the boy and skirting taught skin. kibum rolls his eyes. but of course.ONKEYYYYYYYYYYY this is definitely the kind of reaction/interaction I love most about these two \;u;\ IDEK why these more ‘cute’ moments between all the steamy moments get to me the most ahahahaha but yeahhhhh @w ( ... )
