thank you. usually i take photos of whatever catches my eye... but when i post(for some), it's more of a reflection of my state of being at the given moment. as far as this one, 'an unease repose' posting this on that date, i was interpreting this fountain and its characters as a dark and uneasy composition. it stands in, i believe the east corner of the Boston Common, positioned in such a manner that every character was forced to keep their spot. esp. these 2 characters, though they seem like they have it together, trying to enjoy their fruitions, their droopy, baggy eyes and brows reflect a type of distress and tension of how they placed their trust on something or someone. as for me, i was anticipating betrayal, distrust and deception, but keeping a nonchalant exterior...
