Look everybody! I've learned how to put a picture on my thing! This is susana and figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro (the marriage of figaro, one of Mozarts greatest and most famous works) I love it!

Definately. Though, nothing will compare with Beethoven. He's my man.

Oh wait, something just came on iTunes that beats all of them... Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright.

Despite all the great stuff that Tchaikovsky did, he still managed to write one of the most boring movements of any string quartet ever. The whole thing is basically just whole notes. And any later Russian composer (Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Prokofieff) simply kicks his ass.

To each there own. I must admit somtimes mozart has his low points, very repetetive. as long as your listening to something classical, i am satisfied and my online outrage appeased, so you can toss your provocative post out the window!

for all you wannabe opera nerds out there, who want to listen but dont have the CD's- go to a website called vivalavoce.com, go to the bottom of the screen where it says "click here to start listening" and you have different well know or obscure opera's and classical music all day long, steaming from your very own computer! and it's free. woot.

Or, conversely, you can illegally download music like Pantera's Cowboys From Hell or Marilyn Manson's The Beautiful People. If you want to get really exotic, go ahead and get any number of Jimi Hendrix songs, specifically Spanish Castle Magic and Voodoo Child. Also, Mercedes Benz by Janis Joplin is a must have. Most importantly, however, is that you download the Sugar Hill Gang's Rapper's Delight. Much better than any opera song.
