I need to stop spending money. I've got to save up for a trip to france this spring(with school), the netherlands this winter(to visit my brother while he's studying abroad, a a trip my tripod and I are planning to backpack across europe...that'll be really expensive. get a savings account at a bank that is far, far away from your house, so that if you need to get money from it, it won't be on a whim because it will take effort to go that far.

i need a way to contact you other than lj, i have good reason to talk to you, something that might just grasp your attention.

That's actually a very good idea. It wasn't intentional--I moved away from my bank, and didn't switch banks because I get much better interest where I am--but I know from experience that it helps me budget.

Also, don't buy things on impulse. That doesn't mean "never spend any money," just know where your money is going.
