I don't play but I do read.
And I read because I like the SIS idea, but every time I'm at a con no one seems happy with what is going on at SIS.
So ask them to revamp the game so people outside the game might find it interesting to join.

Or you could do what every other gamer is entitled to do and find a new GM. There are books. People know how to LARP. Who says you have to run under the plots of someone you don't respect. Start your own game.

I didn't go this year because of the following theory: fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, fool me three times well i am just a glutton for punishment then aren't I. I did not want to find out what a forth was. I would be willing to write the people responsible for this game and share my disillusionment with it, I really enjoyed hanging out with jerry when I met him. This really is starting to look like a business model now though...hang out with these really cool people then when the game starts...where did they go? Sometimes what seems like a meaningful conversation just turns out to be pillowtalk. You end up feeling used. Othertimes the cats just find more interesting cat-nip and you can't make people do things even though cat herders try. So they do what makes them happy can you blame them? In a group story telling system everyone needs their chance to shine. To me what is important here is to ( ... )

Yup. It's me. *wave* I miss hanging out with all of you too. That was (and is) one of the worst parts of this for me.

I dont disagree with you. HEre is my suggestion.
If Jen wanted to care she should have gone to some of the long term players who were still attending conventions but not playing or not attending at all and asked if there was a reason why. As a company they should always care about the happiness of the customer. If there had been some discussion before now I think that things might have been fixed easier. Now most of us who do not play just don't trust that it will not happen again.

I think that Jen should have been asking questions before now. However, she is asking now, so I am going to give my 2 cents. Maybe if we are lucky, she will listen, and things will change.
