Well, it won't be in the otherwise "pretty part." Near San Lo and Greenbelt area. Too ugh-ish. :))
It's ours! If you look at the seal of Manila, there's a merlion / sealion there. It's supposed to symbolize the city's Spanish influences. Then Singapore just adopted the merlion after.
Am I wrong, or were you staying at the Swissotel Promenade something or other? :3 Not that I've ever been, but I see it when I walk around Clarke Quay.
That is Sir Stamford Raffles! Isn't he the dandy.
Pretty pictures as always, Carina. AND SO HOT, SO VERY HUMID AND TERRIBLE AND HOT, INDEED IT IS. I refuse to believe it is just 31°C. I feel like a chicken roasting in a rotisserie.
Ha, that's actually a terrible diptych because one pictures does not have anything to do with the other. We actually stayed at Orchard Parade, which isn't very far from the Hilton :)
He is quite dandy!
Thank you, bb. I did feel like a roasting chicken for whom there is no escape :(
Makes me miss Singapore! We stayed a Raffles Hotel two years ago. Love your pictures as usual - looks like a fun trip. Heehee. My friend has the same dress as you! Super random - but what's the font you used for Singapore on the 1st pic? Looks nice :)
Looking forward to more posts. And that's crazy hot over there *_* It's like 10*C over here where I live, ugh.
Darn, that font isn't free! If it's not too much trouble, would you mind zipping it for me? :D
Haha, I dunno, I kind of want hot weather right now. Though probably not as hot as over there for you!! Thank goodness for air conditioners though, right? :)
The pictures are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I love how vibrant they are. And oh my gosh the hotel you guys stayed at? ♥♥♥ LOVE. (You're right - the Palisades building does look like a hedgehog.) And the merlion! <3 I adore that.

The merlion was OURS.
And your clothes, I love. :)

Hahaha ours? Care to explain? :D
Yay, thanks. Haha I don't wear it that much because the neckline is... dangerous, pero naisipan kong lagyan nalang ng loob. Hahaha. Duh.
