Nothing seems to be different since I've returned. I can't get ahold of Edward... Not even sure I should. If he's avoiding me, I understand, but there's no reason for him to avoid the Lieutenant, is there?
And I really shouldn't still be interacting with Cirucci. Haven't I learned anything? She hasn't changed, not at all. I'm just convenient to her--someone to leave her snacks and read her stories. Last I checked, I was an esteemed scientist, not a nanny.
...And as for Meme... I don't know why I keep running into little girls. I just hope she's trustworthy. Riful wasn't, but Franca was. There's no way I can tell. I'll just have to have faith.
I'm running low on money...and Miss Jeane's shop seems to be closed. I guess she went back home. That's good for her.

That was a strange curse to return to. I hope nobody's hurt from it? Some people were acting so strangely, and what with all the spy equipment everywhere... It really was like a movie.

I need to go out and find a new job pretty soon, and drop by the grocery store on the way back... Are you going to be all right on your own? Is there anything you want me to pick up?
