If there weren't people getting angry about that advert on the internet, then who knows what would happen? You would probably lose your right to vote. I think it was Emily Pankhurst who said: "The price of liberty is eternal angry vigilance of adverts and films you haven't seen."
The concept is fine and I'm actually okay with over-analysing the little things (because I think it can be interesting and can add up to big things).
I just disliked the squabbling and how much of my time it was eating into. I often find a bit of debate to be quite productive but if everyone's already had the same arguments a fair few times then it just descends into people retyping old thoughts whilst having no interest in what anyone else is actually saying.
