It's a bit more time/money than we planned to spend, but we basically figured that we probably will NOT have a chance to take a trip like this again (at least before our (non-existant as of now) kids are grown. Awesome vacation. We took a 7 day cruise of the Mediterranean a couple of years ago. The cool thing with cruises is that most likely your room will be upgraded again before you take off for free. We always book the lowest room that we will be happy with; you really won't be spending that much time in the room. What the cruise companies will do is bump you up to a nicer cabin and offer your room at the last minute to fill up the ship and make money. Every cruise we've been on we've been upgraded at least 3 grades.

I hope you guys have a wonderful honeymoon. Tom and I had to wait a week before we took our first cruise/honeymoon. It sucked and the week seemed like it never would be over. It's totally worth the wait though. Cruising is the best way to vacation. You go to bed in France and wake up in Italy. What can be better than that?!

I'm almost hoping it's not.

The next upgrade would be for the same room, but right below the pool deck - I'd actually prefer our room, unless they're inclined to upgrade us to a suite! :)

(But y'know, whatever - with a different itenerary, we might spend more time in the room - with this one, we'll be so busy, except for our 3 days at sea, we'll hardly be in the room at all.. I know it will all work out... I SO can't wait!)

Our first cruise was a 7 day western Carribean Cruise with Carnival. Then our second was a 7 day cruise of the Mediterranean with Royal Carribean. Both were awesome
