Our friend Shawn had to go to court last week for slapping a horse's ass. It happened to be a police horse, and it happened to be patrolling downtown. The charge was assault on an officer, can you believe? Shawn insists it was just a love swat. I don't know, he's usually one drunk kid. Slapping a police officer's horse is essentially the same thing as running up to a squad car and taking a sledge hammer to it (once) and then running off. Not really a good idea.

Funny though. Something I'd like to see on tape.

If he had kicked the cop, he'd be in a lot more trouble than he is. It's more like he messed with police property as opposed to assaulting an officer.

I come from a cop family. These people have nothing better to talk about.

Do you really? TX cops? Man, they don't fuck around. That shit is really interesting. My friend, her dad is a cop and her husband, too - and they definitely have a 'culture'. Hearing the stories holds this morbid fascination for me.

That just made my day! (NOt the fact that your friend went to court, that sucks, but the nature of it is laughable)

If they feel so passionate about horses, I personally think it's cruel to be riding them! Horses are meant to be free, not the personal bitch of humans!

hahah I know. We only have like three mounted units and everyone just wants to pet them. I laughed pretty hard, too.
